Georgetown, TX is taking a stand against climate change and environmental degradation. The city has launched a new initiative to prepare students to become leaders in sustainable business and environmental practices. This program will welcome its first class in the fall of this year. In addition, Georgetown has created a new institute called Earth Commons to accelerate action, research, and education on the most pressing environmental and sustainability challenges.
